Batten Tape can be used for taping down folds in liner after being installed, this eliminates the so called dogs ear that is created when folding pond liner. By using the double-sided tape to secure liner flap and placing the single-sided tape over top to create a much more smoother corner which prevents the collection of debris that can form inside the liner flap.

Koi Tonic Calcium Bentonite is 100% natural volcanic clay that contains no additives. Also known as montmorillonite clay, it is deposited in a limited number of areas of the world and it has long been used by Native Americans as a miracle clay to cure certain illnesses and wounds. Koi tonic is high in essential minerals such as silica, aluminum, iron, calcium, magnesium and sodium which are a vital sources of nutrition that are easily dissolved in water and absorbed by fish through body, gill and digestion.

Why  Koi Tonic is Needed?

Water quality is the single most important factor in fish breeding. The minerals found in the clay help koi thrive and add luster to their skin colors. When koi are kept in man-made ponds with the water source coming from your tap, limited mineral supply found in the water will be used up quickly by the fish and other organism's. Koi will still survive when they are deprived of these minerals, however, their colors will deteriorate. Thus reintroduction of the minerals will only be made possible through change of water or through direct introduction.

What Koi Tonic Does

The Koi's own discharge and excess food are the main sources of pollution in a pond. A dirty pond consumes a lot of oxygen and has a high acidic level which encourages the growth of unwanted organism. With the introduction of Koi Tonic into a man-made pond will improve the water quality to that of a mud pond.                                                              

Calcium bentonite particles are negatively charged; when added to water, they react with the positively charged impurities in the water. The two substances attract each other in a process called ionic exchange and precipitate to the bottom for filtration. As a result, Koi Tonic restricts the increase of harmful organics, breaks down dissolved organic cardon and cleans and clears the water in the process. The improved water quality provides the Koi a much healthier environment to live in, free of bacterial diseases.
